Just me
Thank You soooo much for sharing! You are not a "Just Me" - You are a Magnificent, Blessed Being!!

Much of my family still things I am odd.... Here is how I handle that - "Other people's opinions of me... are None of My Business!" - The only opinion that really makes a difference in my life is "My Opinion of ME"

People's opinions do not in anyway describe who I am - their opinions only describe who they are!

So... if you feel their negativity - shrug it off as it does not at all label you... Realize that many times we are way ahead of them in the cosmic sense... So when you are with them concentrate on their good points and don't even look at their faults.....after awhile if we don't react to them - they truly change!

While they might not embrace your way of thinking ... they will get curious of why they still feel good around you... and they will stop judging...

I have seen this within my own family and some friends... They still don't understand me.. yet they are intrigued because I do not judge them... Being with them has now become easy for me....

Thanks so much for sharing! Big Hugs to You! :D

Hi Carol King
So good to see you here.... No such thing as wasted time - that too is a box! I can not waste my time... My time is unique and special and everything that has gone on within it has brought me to another level in my life....

We've been taught that we "waste time" but that is impossible ... Life is a journey and every moment has counted on our journey - ever moment is important in our expansion and joy... never, ever wasted!

I'm so grateful that my niece sees how special Nicholas is... and while to some degree she is playing the game with the school -- (she is playing so they won't give him a hard time) -- she is also making sure they are aware that she believes in him and has complete faith in who he is and she is not at all impressed at who they think he is! ;)

Hope you friend also sees how special her daughter is and not let other people's opinions taint her opinion! Bravo to you for seeing the uniqueness of this child!

Thanks for sharing....

Big Hugs,

I am new to this and dont really write comments on websites although I do read and learn a lot from various sites. I enjoyed reading your information. I feel I have always been very different from my family with regards to how I think and see things. Sometimes I cannot understand why they cannot think outside the box and I am sure they think I am odd with how I live my life because of the comments they make towards me. Oh btw I was named the rebel but I had my own mind and didnt agree with a lot of what they said to me. To be honest I think I was very simular to most children my age in behaviour patterns but just thought a lot different to them and they still have no idea who I am or what I am about because they have constantly put me into different named boxs - instead of taking the time to get to know how I tick and how my mind works. They cannot understand with the way I think, it is very open and I see the bigger picture where they struggle too constantly.

After years of this, I must admit a lot of this has affected me and I find myself always picking up on the slightest negativity now on how I think I am percieved by them but I dont act on.

Your words are so wise and so true Ellie. I have recently gotten out of the "your grandmother was overweight, I am over weight so you will be over weight too" box, thank goodness. Although I am glad to be free of that conditioning I cannot help feeling a sense of loss at how many years were wasted believing that I was overweight because of my genes.

Labeling children is also one of my pet peeves and I absolutely understand you getting hot under the collar. A friend of mine has an amazingly bright daughter who I believe to be an indigo child, but has been sentenced to the 'autistic' box by her school. I am encouraging my friend to ignore this sentence that they want to pass on to this amazing child and let her be the person she came here to be.

Thanks for this wonderful post.

Yes! Shifting those "ancient patterns from childhood" lets in so much love and light!
How wonderful that not only are you reaping the benefits but also those members of your family!
Thanks so much for sharing!

Hi Greg...
I certainly would love to see the school system catch up with the 21st century. I am fascinated by the Sudbury schools - http://www.sudval.org/ -
I believe all children --- well all beings - are absolutely special and unique and it benefits us all when we recognize and nurture that uniqueness.

Hi Jennifer.....
Yes we need to re-learn how to listen to our own inner guidance. That voice never stops - we just dim it out by all the words that are in the box! ;)
Thanks for sharing!

Excellent post! It is so true that if you are totally *unaware* of your unconscious patterns from your own history, the law of attraction will never work to give you what you want. I wrote a recent post about this on my blog too...

I have recently been doing my own work, shifting some big ancient patterns from childhood. It has been amazing to see the love and light that has come in to fill the places where this was stored, and how my work has benefitted other members of my family in their own personal work (even if they don't even know I'm working on it).

Only when we have a focus cleared of old junk, can we attract the right things!

Hi Ellie,

Thanks for the post.

It's disappointing to hear the situation with your niece's son. When I hear things like this, it makes me want to seriously consider unique private schools, charter schools, home schooling, etc. if/when I have kids in the future. Call me crazy, but I think the assumption should be that all children are gifted. And they all are in their own way.

This post reminds me to be aware of all of the boxes that I am living in today. Just thinking about where there are boxes helps a lot because it weakens their power. You start to see an illusion as an illusion and not as real.

Have a wonderful day!
