I was there - the webcast had a few burps for me in the beginning and about 45 minutes into it - I was not able to view it any longer.

But - the video is now available at Oprah’s website — and — they have also included a 45 page written transcript of the event! The video download is huge…. At that page you will also be able to download the written transcript - While I like to watch the video - I am very happy they have supplied this transcript as I can go back and reference what was said….

I have received many emails from folks asking me why am I promoting this?

• Don’t I feel like this is in opposition to the Law of Attraction?
• Ellie - how can you promote this book when many of Eckhart’s words are negative?

Hmmm - see the discussion that has been started? This book and web event has some folks thinking about their own beliefs. I think that type of discussion is good!

Eckhart’s book - is Eckhart’s opinion - - I respect that…. I don’t agree with everything he says - I am open to hearing his ideas and vision - I am open to hearing Oprah’s opinion and vision and other’s - I do not have to agree with them.

Do I think Eckhart’s view on the earth is negative?

I don’t want to label his views negative or positive - I’m smiling as I just wrote that statement as I realized a large portion of the book is about not labeling things, people…

There is a statement early in the book on page 21 where he states “…….that humanity is now faced with a stark choice: Evolve or die.” I know some people were not happy with that statement. Some people feel like chapter one - is a dark opinion of our world and our lives…..

I don’t see our world or humanity in the same context that Eckhart has described in chapter one. However - as I said before - I am able to listen to his opinion and then decide - what resonates with me? what do I believe?

What is important is not what other’s say - it is your own feelings and beliefs. Reading a book like “A New Earth” can get you asking yourself questions that you hadn’t asked before…. Which gets you more in touch with you….

I have found some pearls of wisdom throughout this book. I think if you watch the video and hear Eckhart’s explanation and then re-read the chapter - as I have just done - You might find there are some pearls of wisdom there for you also.
