Hmmm - We need a topic for the Carnival!

My partner in the Blog Carnival, Dean, suggested that we try to make our topics relevant to any holidays, events on the calendar….

So… I opened the calendar and saw March 23rd is Easter this year. The Law of Attraction and the Easter Bunny!

Well - OK - that might not work - though….. I could probably write an article about that!

OK - I get it - while the kids are looking at Easter because of the Easter Bunny - Easter is actually a religious holiday. So - now you know I am not so religious…. but religion did play a part in my childhood.

Religion and Law of Attraction - -

Do they even go together? The last couple of days I have been aware of people talking about religion. Karen from Live the Power just recently broached this topic…

And as I watched Oprah’s “A New Earth” web event - there were so many questions pertaining to people’s religion.

I was raised in an Irish Catholic Family - and as I have said before - it was not always easy being a “Good Irish Catholic Girl” - It is even more difficult to try to be a “Good Irish Catholic Gay Girl”!

As I got older - religion and I went our separate ways…..

I could not participate in a arena that judged me - and there were just too many rules within this religion. Years later - I read the entire bible. For me - while it has some beautiful and loving messages - there were just too many discrepancies throughout the entire book.

But that is for me - that is my perspective - - I have met people who live the Law of Attraction and practice their religion.

So…… Saying all of that - -

Let’s make this the topic for the next Law of Attraction Carnival
