Happy Day to You!
Today, April 22nd, is Earth Day…. and while I know some folks want to talk about what is wrong… I think it is a great day to talk about what is right!

I think today is a great day to focus on … what you appreciate about the Earth!
Rolling hills, spectacular moutains, glorious meadows, wheat & corn fields, chipmunks, polar bears, eagles – and so much more… All supported on this Glorious Earth!
Some say it is all endangered – I don’t think so… I know that is not a popular stance to take – especially on this particular day…
Is the earth going through a shift?
I would say that is true… The earth is a living organism – it is energy vibrating – it shifts and adapts – it fine-tunes – just like we do.
I choose to look at what is right within this wonder-filled world and all it’s diverse people and animals.
I want to know what you are for – not what you are against… When we push against something – it pushes back — when we uplift something – it also uplifts us!
Yes – I recycle – I nurish the earth – I don’t litter – I am not wasteful — and I do this all from the perspective of Appreciation. When we appreciate something – we respect it – we treat it with kindness.
We are all energy – you – me – the chipmunk – the polar bear – the green rolling meadows & the earth….. We are all connected. Today I will appreciate this glorious earth – the air I breathe and the people & animals who inhabit it.
Give someone a hug today – and you will also be hugging the earth!

Totally agree with you. Let’s celebrate what is fabulous.
Hi Anja…. Thanks for visiting… I send You and the Earth a Great Big Hug today!
So nicely put, Ellie! Happy Earth Day, you uplifter, you!
Hi Bren….
Big Hugs!
Happy… Happy Every Day to You!
Hey are you going to see Abraham in June? We will be going to Boston for the Sunday workshop —- Maybe we will see you there!
Hi-i!
Thanks, for that refreshing perspective!
I love knowing that we live on the Paradise Planet! Possibly, Jupiter & Mars are lush when seen from another dimension, but the way they’ve been shown to us, Earth is one giant big blue spa! :O)
I mean, we’ve GOT oxygen! (There’s a start! Hahaha!) And, to me, spa is all about water. And, deserts or no deserts, it at least exists on our planet. Nowadays, it’s something almost everyone can get to if they make their mind up to. (Could call for moving to the edge of a continent, but that’s easy compared to what you’d have to do on the other planets!)
Oh, yeah. Ever heard of plants? We’ve got them! And, we’ve got lovely other people with the type of intelligence we can connect with–not to mention animals whose voices and antics (and warm fur and bodies) make us happy!
I love living on the Paradise Planet! I can’t figure, for the life of me, why we didn’t name it THAT! ;O)
Sunshine & Blessings,
Giovani
Hi Ellie,
Last evening, many people gathered to remember and celebrate the life of a woman who transitioned suddenly in an auto accident. While I had only met the woman twice, and briefly, I had “gotten” her essence, and the blanks were filled in by what the people had to say about her yesterday. She was not one to go unnoticed in a crowd – that was just who she was on this physical plane. She obviously touched many, many lives – all for the better – from what the expression says “the least” of us to “the most” of us. She drew people onto the spiritual path and enabled many to reach inward and bring out qualities they never knew they had. Her name is Harmony, and she certainly made her presence known with us last evening.
Why do I mention her here? I was very touched by this article, as I was very touched by what I learned of Harmony’s life last evening. She was one to appreciate everything from the birds flying overhead while she was on the back of a motorcycle to the love and care she showered on her dog, Thor, whom she brought everywhere with her, and her rabbit, Napoleon, (who turned out to be Josephine).
We were not only able to celebrate but also appreciate Harmony’s life. And I appreciate the wonderful feelings you bring out in me/us through your blog. And yes, I appreciate the earth – everyday I feast my eyes on the beauty of nature as I look out my windows. Thank you Ellie – Thank you Earth!
Carol

Hi Carol…
Thanks so much for sharing with us… How appropriate – celebrating Harmony’s life on Earth Day – Perfect!
I’m a little bit late reading this but I want to say that I agree with your point of view COMPLETELY.
The Earth is such an awesome place to live. I love it when it rains, when the sun shines, when the clouds look as if someone has painted them. I love the beach, the hills, the mountains and the rivers. I love animals and plants and whenever I find myself watching at a full moon or at a colorful sunset, I feel one with the Earth and my heart feels huge and filled with love.
Thanks so much for triggering these images in me today. After all, every day is the Earth Day and Human Day.
Hi Patricia….
You are never late…..
Thank You for your comment – you had me right there with – watching the soft rain fall – feeling the warm sun on my face – at the beach – the mountains – the rivers!
