Don’t Fight Poverty… Support Abundance!
I hear people declare a “war on poverty” …
The Law of Attraction states - “Like attracts Like”. Simply put…. What you put your focus on will increase. Putting my focus on fighting poverty or anything else - is not going to bring me the results I am looking for.
Focusing on what you don’t want is not the way to get what you do want!
Turning my attention to the Abundance of this Universe is the path to an abundant life for all of us.
I know… there are many who will tell me how many people die in one day of starvation - how many people are lacking of basic needs… I do not dispute this. But I have to ask you - When is the last time you helped someone by feeling sorry for them?
I could sit here today and gather all the statistics of poverty in this world and write an article about it… I know I would certainly be feeling sad as I would be writing and I am sure you would be sad reading it!
Who then would I be helping?
You and I would be sad…. which means we would be sending a vibration of lack and sad to the Universe… That certainly won’t help us!
And… the people who are living in that poverty - would still be there!
So here is how I choose to Support Abundance……
I started a Law of Attraction Team at Kiva. Kiva is the world’s first person-to-person micro-lending website, empowering individuals to lend directly to unique entrepreneurs in the developing world.
Today I made a $25 micro loan to a woman from Tanzania who needed $175.00 for her business.
This is such a win-win situation! I am able to loan a small amount, which will be paid back to me… The people who receive this loan are able to grow their business - which grows their abundance! Everyone wins in this situation!
Fighting Poverty is not the path to Abundance…
